Building a Culture of Respect, Responsibility and Discipline
At Apex Academy Sr. Sec. School, we believe that education is not complete without character development. A positive school environment is built when students, teachers, parents and staff work together with mutual respect, responsibility and understanding.
Our Code of Conduct provides a framework for maintaining a safe, disciplined, respectful and supportive learning environment in which every student can learn, participate and grow with confidence.
Core Principles of Conduct (Part 1)
1. Respect for Everyone
Treat teachers, staff, classmates, visitors and peers with courtesy, dignity, and respect.
- Speak politely and listen when others speak.
- Respect diverse opinions and backgrounds.
- Avoid hurting or embarrassing others.
2. Discipline & Responsibility
Follow school rules and take ownership of behaviour, studies, and commitments.
- Follow instructions from authorities.
- Maintain classroom and activity discipline.
- Complete assigned work responsibly.
3. Attendance & Punctuality
Essential for consistent academic progress and respect for time.
- Attend school and classes regularly on time.
- Participate in exams and practicals.
- Inform the school promptly regarding absence.
4. Academic Integrity
Maintain honesty and integrity across all learning evaluations.
- Submit genuine, independent work.
- Avoid copying or unfair means.
- Seek teacher guidance when stuck.
5. School Facilities
Share responsibility for infrastructure and learning resources.
- Use furniture, equipment, and property carefully.
- Leave classrooms and labs clean.
- Prevent intentional damage or misuse.
6. Laboratory Safety
Strict adherence to safety guidelines in science and computer labs.
- Handle equipment cautiously as instructed.
- Avoid unsafe behaviour and report damage.
- Maintain cleanliness and order.

Zero tolerance for bullying, intimidation, aggression, or harassment.
- Resolve disagreements respectfully.

8. Digital Responsibility
Ethical and authorised use of technology for learning.

- Never use devices for cyberbullying.
9. Dress & Appearance
Neat, clean, and appropriate adherence to prescribed uniform guidelines.
- Maintain personal hygiene.
- Wear correct uniform properly.
10. Transport Conduct
Safety and discipline while using school transportation.
- Follow driver and staff instructions.
- Remain seated and keep vehicle clean.
11. Environment
